He is the founder of the Thriving Dentist Inc., and his passion is prominent as an advocate of reduced dependency on insurance in the dental practice setting. With an energetic presentation style, Gary is a frequently requested speaker at Dental Conferences, Symposiums, Study Clubs and other continuing education classes. He is also a published author. As a co-owner himself of LifeSmiles Dental Care in Phoenix, Ariz., Gary uses his background and vast experience to help Dentists and Team Members create their ideal practice.

Art’s expertise is not only in taxation issues for dentists, but also in knowledge of dental practice metrics and benchmarks. He has the ability to look at a dentist’s profit and loss statements and practice management reports and identify profit holes in the practice. In addition, Art is adept at buy-in and buy-out consulting, practice start-ups, compensation plan development, operation evaluations, and litigation support for dentists. He is a founding member of the Academy of Dental CPAs (ADCPA) and hosts the bi-weekly podcast, “The Art of Dental Finance and Management.”
