Cal/OSHA Training Requirements for Dental Practices - Employers must provide employees with Cal/OSHA-mandated training on bloodborne pathogens (exposure control), hazard communication, injury and illness prevention and fire and emergency plans. This checklist of Cal/OSHA training requirements includes a comparison of the Dental Board of California's infection control continuing education requirement and Cal/OSHA's bloodborne pathogens/exposure control training requirements.

Injury and Illness Prevention Plan - This is a sample plan dentists can customize to describe how their practice prevents workplace injuries and illness. If a dentist has employees, they must have this plan. This resource is part of the CDA Regulatory Compliance Manual and has been updated to include procedures for screening patients with aerosol transmissible diseases.
