Capturing a less than perfect impression, selecting the incorrect ceramic material, using improper cements, or not paying close attention to occlusion can all have devastating effects. This program will give an overview of the best practices in crown and bridge delivery. Proper impression techniques for both conventional and digital impressions will be covered. Emphasis will be placed on incorporating digital impression technology into practice for all forms of restorative dentistry from single units to multiple restorations. A review of modern ceramics and cements will be covered. Dr Marc Geissberger has presented 450 lectures and hands-on workshops to colleagues in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru and Taiwan. He has co-authored and published numerous scientific papers and a textbook entitled Esthetic Dentistry in Clinical Practice for Wiley-Blackwell. Additionally, he is a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Dr. Geissberger has been awarded fellowship in the International College of Dentists, American College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
