In-Person CE Program with Hands-on elements

CE Speaker: Marc Geissberger, DDS

Well-fitting, long-lasting, beautiful indirect restorations require that the clinician perform at their best and make countless sound clinical decisions. Capturing a less than perfect impression, selecting the incorrect ceramic material, using improper cements, or not paying close attention to occlusion can all have devastating effects.

This program will give an overview of the best practices in crown and bridge delivery. Proper impression techniques for both conventional and digital impressions will be covered. Emphasis will be placed on incorporating digital impression technology into practice for all forms of restorative dentistry from single units to multiple restorations. A review of modern ceramics and cements will be covered.

Learning objectives:
· Simple techniques to overcome the potential pitfalls of impression capturing.
· How to overcome the pain points encountered with either a conventional or digital impression.
· What ceramics to use in various clinical situations.

· What cementation protocols will extend the life expectancy of your restorations.

· How to identify potential problems with occlusion.
